@Derek Ross - what is the difference between 0xchat and Simplex chat? (genuinely curious). Does both focus on privacy and hides IP?

Both 0xChat and SimpleX offer a SOCKS proxy feature, which you can enable and use with the Tor network to hide your real IP.
