Not sure but I think you have to have a creator account to do it.
I just tried with a downloaded test pdf. It works

Are you trying to upload it from a nostr.build account or from the free account page? Not sure if it matters though
I don’t have an account so yea. I figured there’s a paywall but I don’t see the point in paying for an account when I only want to upload one file 😂
It’s weird, Fishcake and nostr.build didn’t specify that it was only for paid accounts 🤷🏾♂️
Can you upload a pdf without being logged in?
It doesn’t seem to support .pdf while logged out. Look at the list 
Ahh, pdf/svg/zip/tar are only available for paid accounts. These type of files need to be scanned for viruses before uploaded, so take a lot more resources…
