In all seriousness, what makes you so sure that it works? Works in what way? I am genuinely interested in why people are so convinced by this. No meaningful results have been shown that challenge the existence of a hard ceiling on scaling. (IOW, nobody has ever proven Schrodinger wrong.) All the results are still consistent with a hard ceiling. What gives you a concrete impression that this is a solved problem and they just need to go a little further?
I know that is kind of the narrative of the hype, but have you ever TRIED to drill down on it?
Side question: do you believe AGI is coming too?

Because it's been proven by experiment multiple times, I dunno what to tell you. To the degree it's been proven that if you split atoms in a certain way you get bombs. As in, it's been proven to the degree that if you disregard the proof then nothing means anything and there's no discussion to be had, we're in "science is just my feelings" land.
