No meaningful results have been shown that challenge the existence of a hard ceiling on scaling. (IOW, nobody has ever proven Schrodinger wrong.) All the results are still consistent with a hard ceiling. What gives you a concrete impression that this is a solved problem and they just need to go a little further? I know that is kind of the narrative of the hype, but have you ever TRIED to drill down on it? Side question: do you believe AGI is coming too?
