Let's say you weren't into bitcoin yet. What would you think about the discrepancies among these different fiat currencies compared to bitcoin?

I can remember. It felt unpredictable & random. It was hard to understand what was causing it. All you knew was that things were getting cheaper or expensive for your country. Fuel was the most noticeable.
