I don't understand why there is so much emotion surrounding the price of Zcash. If you think that in today's cryptocurrency world, anyone other than you and 0.01% of people despise the corporate component of any cryptocurrency project - think again. Moreover, no one doesn't care about centralization (take Tron, Binance Smart Chain, and other EVM-like networks as examples), and the fact that one pool was mining ~75% of ZEC blocks until recently is also irrelevant. By the way, for greater decentralization, the corporate boys added +1 pool (F2Pool) so that you would finally shut up about ZEC being mined by 1 pool for almost 9 years. Forget it, now there are 2 pools. Enjoy. Also, why is the community, which has spent most of its time focusing on improving the Monero protocol and spreading information about it, suddenly so concerned about market cap? At this stage, Zcash wins in: * ease of entry/exit (thanks to integrations with other networks and DEXs But Zcash is losing in terms of merchant adoption. And this price increase could change that too. Instead of running around on Twitter, maybe it would be more productive to do something more useful for XMR? 🤔

Yeah it's sad to see it go this way. I understand companies and such having centralized systems as their priorities are different than individuals. But people ignoring centralization because it pays them is opposite of the original goal. Hopefully in the future we'll still have decentralized options like XMR.
