So do you believe that the pope is infallible? As you see things you disagree with from the top, how would you justify that? And if they are not infallible, why not just follow the Bible? IMO, there have been many teachings of the Catholic Church in its history that contradict the Bible or elevate their traditions to the level of the Word of God.
