Keep feeding people dopamine so they stay tribalist, and you get social groups and friendships and people that are willing to die to protect each other and stuff.
Make friendships happen on the internet so people don't want to die to protect each other, and what you're doing is making them less tribalist, so they won't want to die to attack the middle east either.

* Use people's tribalism to keep them pitted against each other, Africa, the middle east, etc. instead of you, relying on the natural human tendency to care more about people we're nearer to
* Use social media algorithms, censorship, etc. to undermine people's tribalism and make them not care about people they're nearer to, so they don't care enough to do anything about war crimes etc.
