That is the other falsity they would like you to believe - that the individual doesn't matter and everyone has to change at the same time for it to work.
If Satoshi thought like that, he would not have created bitcoin. He would have said it is pointless to make it as it will only become money if everyone starts using it, and that will never happen.
What I do understand is that change takes effort and the rulers make sure we are tired. So don't beat yourself up if you can't disengage from the system overnight. Make the one step that you can make.
Every single person, and every single step matter.

You're wrong. Satoshi designed bitcoin because he also knows that no mass of normies will ever change. That's the whole point. Bitcoin uses incentives that drive war, to actually stop it from happening - at least when it comes to killing each other. Read "Softwar" if you get a chance.
