You can lock cashu to an npub
Spark is custodial and kyc
No it's not. Research about it.
Minibits, I am sure other cashu wallets too

Perhaps, but I believe the whole point of spark was to send a prepack of kyc before the funds land so that they are approved or denied as a result. Spark is wallstreet lightning.
Ok men. Their code is opensource and for sure people will be able to use their tech to create different federations if they start to deny transactions.
ecashu should work. But since you only want to give it to one person, why not just zap them directly? haha
If I zap the person directly, how I will know the person read my specific note?
Maybe just wait until they reply to you, then zap them?
But the idea is really for people that didn't reply or react my note. So I don't know if he read it or not, but if he claim de sats, I'll be sure he read the note, even not replying or reacting.
Is someone like that really worth zapping? haha
If I don’t want to reply or react, I definitely wouldn’t claim the sats either.
Many times I read a note but I don't want to react or reply someone. Imagine if you would like to get attention of someone. You write a big text hoping he reads it, but he probably never react or reply people, but maybe he claim the sats. So you will know he read it.
Read this:
Compliance as code: How we embed controls into the infrastructure
At Lightspark, we don’t bolt compliance onto the side—we build it into the core protocol. Our architecture is designed to integrate directly into a bank’s existing governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) stack.

I usually read some notes and I don't want to react because I think people will think is an endorsement, and I don't want to reply too.
This is Lightspark and not Spark. Spark is opensource and you know it.
In that case, would you still claim the sats?
Do I? What is the difference between Spark amd Lightspark?
Yes, haha. Who don't want free money?
And I'm sure someone would like to know that I read his note. Maybe if we have a emoji to demonstrate just that we read the note. For me is ok.
Research and you will find.
Or no, haha.
Yes, same company, different projects.
Lightspark made spark and I don't see the difference.
They collect and track everything possible lol.

I can share an interesting experience: fiatjaf once left a 1k sats cashu token in the zapbox relay for whoever saw it first. I think his purpose was a bit different, he just wanted to reward the first person who saw it.
But if the goal is to check whether someone has read it, I don’t think it really makes much sense, if a person truly doesn’t want you to know they’ve read it, they simply won’t claim it.
It's not about not wanting to know that I have read it, it's about not wanting to interact and at the same time signalling that I read it without any endorsement.
nao estou certo se o algoritmo de chaves do nostr permite isso mas, se fosse RSA, pelo menos, dava pra:
encripte a chave privada que permite 'sacar' os sats com a chave publica nostr do destinatario
o destinatario recebe, e usa a chave privada nostr dele pra desencriptar, descobrindo a chave privada
o destinatario usa a chave privada pra transferir os sats pra um endereco dele.
se o cliente nostr ja tem acesso a chave privada nostr e a um endereco pra enviar sats, pode ser automatizado.
