That was beautifully authentic man & resonated a lot despite having never done a Vipassana retreat (it's on my radar though).
That innocent 9 year old version of you is where your unconscious behaviours & reactions come from. That version of you is still alive in your subconscious, it's where most of your healing has to occur.
One thing that surprised me was how similar pain & joy were. How quickly experiencing pain could flip to experiencing joy. It was the resistance to the pain that caused suffering, not the pain itself.
It's all a process of recognising & remembering man. Theres no specific & important information that must be passed on to others either. The process of recognising & remembering while in the physical illusion is immensely valuable. It's not possible to give them a short cut & if you were to find a way, you'd be denying them a uniquely divine experience.
I'm looking forward to you expanding further. Thank you for having the courage to express this stuff 🫂💚
Really enjoyed your recap of your 1st Vipassana course! Sounds like you went pretty deep and made some real progress during the 10 days. Most of my experiences outside of the ordinary also happen while lying in bed after the day's meditation. Great job with keeping up the daily sits! After many years of daily practice and many courses, I can attest that it's well worth the effort and makes life better every day. Metta.
It's good to share experiences & opinions while identifying with non of them.
I look forward to sharing my Vipassana meditation experience with you.
