Not surprised. The incumbents are striking back. They are not going down with a fair fight.
Who profits from hindering people to do bitcoin self-custody?
Exchanges, ETFs, Treasury companies, banks, Trump and his crypto cronies at World Libertyβ¦.I mean fucking Black Rock has interest to keep us from doing self-custody.
Get yourself a Pixel phone, run nostr:npub1235tem4hfn34edqh8hxfja9amty73998f0eagnuu4zm423s9e8ksdg0ht5, use Obtainium to find and download a self-custody wallet. It works.

And check out zap.store too. Those are the only 2 app stores I use and I have everything I need.
Granted I don't install anything I can't find without them, but I have 2fa, password manager, whatsapp, telegram, signal, simplex, maps, obsidian for notes, mail, calendar, all my wallets I test, etc...
And the only things I used obtainium for are:
1. WhatsApp
2. Shelter (gives me a work mode isolated profile)
3. Catima (for my nandos loyalty card π
)
That link (zap dot store) points to a shitcoin app. I don't think that's what you meant...?
Shit. I'll update. I recall that they had to buy a different domain.
Zapstore has signed wallet apps which may be safer.
It's zapstore.dev NOT Zap(dot)store
The zapstore maintainer got strong armed with a $2000 renewal fee so they dropped the domain.
