Yah, you are doing it again. What spin or narrative do you have in mind when thinking about this? Say for example I am Israel and have used Gaza as a concentration camp to contain Palestinians for 40 years to the point where they finally have had enough repression and rebel against it. Do I as Israel have the right to commit cultural genocide against thousands of innocent civilians including women and children because I can't properly engage Hamas? Is that what you mean? Or did you intend to reference Israel bombing an Iranian embassy in Syria and the subsequent retaliation by Iran?
Of course they have the right to try. It is literally how the world is formed. Wars have been fought and lost for millenia. Today's wars are actually far less deadly than previous centuries. You could argue that Oct 7 was the fault of Israel. OK, cool. I would disagree, but either way it, Gaza pays the price. Elections and allowing Hamas to build up have consequences for both sides. But gaza has nothing to do with Iran attempting to bomb a country and Israel's retaliation.
