Many chains embraced the oligarchy by moving into proof of stake, as that is the comfort zone. They chose to delegate their decision power to others like they do in Democratic system. The digital natives, border less communities online should strive to keep the privacy and decentralisation in check. We should champion all solutions that bring freedom of speech and freedom to trade with anyone we want
For Bitcoin to thrive people need to adapt to the new reality. We have come a full circle on Internet, from everything self hosted to the cloud and back to the self hosted content and now the bank.
Building a monetary system on opensourcred code makes sense, as a society we just need to step up our game and become more responsible. There is no better way than building on proof of work, there is no stronger network than Bitcoin and never will be.
We just need to keep building. Keep educating and improving. For this reason we are promoting NOSTR as we recognised it's strength as a protocol for decentralised apps and bedrock for both local and global communities.
It's very early days but it's a great feeling to be ahead of the curve and be a part of something that shapes the human race for the next millenias.
