At this point in the plants life cycle extra light at night can't affect it hormonally and the worst the plant will do to itself is pump out more tricomes. I'm not sure but even if it is the case, it's probably an acceptable trade-off. Keeping delinquent kids from stealing the potentially suboptimal bud is probably better than less bud overall because they keep stealing it.
