I explained that ~70 DSS forgeries that flooded the antiquities market around 2002 were what he was talking about, if not the many forgeries sold to archaeologists back in the 1940s-1950s by locals looking to capitalize on the opportunity. He was right about those but I was right about the roughly 800+ scrolls and fragments found back in the day as being legit.
