A nice simple 5 minute video for those of you who give af about #bitcoin and the #bitcoin network.
If people allow #core to blow out the OP_Return data limit to 100kb then expect the deepest red candles from hell and a network that ends up with CP on its blockchain. It happened to BSV in the exact same way, so don’t say it can’t or won’t happen, there is already precedence.
State level actors would love nothing more than to desecrate the #bitcoin time chain with something like CP. 100kb of data allows for this kind of nasty shit to be propagated throughout the network.
Run #knots on your own full node. I’ll be saying this until #core 30 comes out. We’ll see how it all shakes out but this is a serious and fucked up issue.
