GrapheneOS doesn't persistently store notifications unless users explicitly enable notification history. With secure messaging apps like signal you should never have it set to show message previews in notifications anyway. So basically this user was up to something shady and couldn't be bothered to follow basic opsec to protect their shady deadline because they preferred the convenience of message previews.
