We didn't have a great experience with our last rooster, won't know if we got one for a while, hopefully if we did, he's not a vicious child/wife attacker!

We don't have the rooster anymore, but one of our laying chickens got very broody, and was sitting on all the unfertilized eggs. We were able to find some fertilized ones from a nearby neighbor and swapped them out. Our mama dutifully sat on them for the last 21 days, and here they are! We lost one in the cold, looks like the mama threw it out of the coop.
