If you want stories: John Steinbeck Light pieces: Tortilla Flat, The Wayward Bus Heavier stuff: The Grapes of Wrath (Pulitzer Prize for this one) If you want philosophy: Søren Kierkegaard Only read one thing so far, The Sickness unto Death, and it helped me through some serious existential crisis. (I recommend to search for some interpretations, youtube videos will do, since it‘s written in classic philosophy language which is not easy to grasp) If you want something practical: @Juraj wrote a bunch of great books, for example Cryptocurrencies – Hack your way to a better life
