There's a nice glimpse of the future, I keep saying that the mob can always force you to use their worthless paper.
Most people in Algeria have no idea what Bitcoin is Now they'll know. It is forbidden because it does not suffer from the crazy dinar inflation.

Also no one can stop ordinary Algerian people to buy, hodl or use their Bitcoin. Bitcoin is Freedom Money, never refuses an account and the choice to transact freely.
The Streisand effect is a phenomenon where attempts to hide or censor information inadvertently lead to greater public awareness of that information. It is named after Barbra Streisand, who, in trying to suppress a photograph of her home, ended up drawing much more attention to it instead. (Credit to duckduckgo's ai for this summary)

found this - “The Streisand effect is an example of psychological reactance, wherein once people are aware that some information is being kept from them, they are significantly more motivated to acquire and spread it.” (and heightened by the internet and social media haha) “The phenomenon is well-known in Chinese culture, expressed by the idiom "wishing to cover, more conspicuous" (欲蓋彌彰, pinyin: Yù gài mí zhāng).” “Reactance (psychology) – Unpleasant emotion experienced when behavioral freedom is threatened.” (Wikipedia)
