And I get that. No one wants to scream into the void. I do wish a major client would take a stance though and remove follower counts. They're not accurate anyway.

Yeah, I get your point now.
It's the follower count you're talking about, not just that people are trying to get followers, but obsessing over the actual number of followers?
One follower that actually interacts and comments is worth more than any number of followers that don't interact
