You mean to tell me there are people who don't have dreams where they're falling off cliffs?
I used to dream about falling. Mainly at the beginning of my slumber I would feel my belly drop. It pissed me off enough to where I began jumping instead of falling. This still sucked but it was my choice and the gut drop was expected. That dream went away thereafter. Not sure how I got to the point where I can control my dream in that way but I did.
I get intrusive thoughts about jumping off / leaping from edges and great heights but it doesn't really bother me, it's just an automatic but odd response. Does your brain do that too? If you have a fear of heights I can see that combination sucking 😅

When I stand at the edge of a cliff, I feel like I'm being pulled over it. I don't have a fear of heights, but I get bad vertigo in those situations.
Gunnison? I don’t get dreams about it but looking over big drops still makes my palms sweat even after 25+ years climbing.
I only went once and it was a real epic in every sense. deep drive to the trailhead, ~10 mile hike in, daily thunderstorms, insane climbing. worth a visit for sure. image
Yeah. That lines up with everything I ever heard about it. Seems amazing.
Yeah, and an odd urge to.. jump. It's like a subconscious voice tempting you to do it.
