Kinda off topic but what came up for me: my dog training has taken on a new depth since I have started incorporating nervous system work for him, just like I do for myself, albeit mine looks different. The other day, when the front buzzer rang unexpectedly, he looked immediately to me for guidance then was able to follow my commands. Before, he would've just barked. We have relax protocols that we implement daily, and I am training commands that help him have nervous system resets, like Shake (works in humans too ๐) or Chill Out (lay all the way down on his side). To see nervous system work work with a different species where we don't share a language proves how powerful it could be amongst the same species.

I love this! This book helped me so much on this topic ๐

I will definitely check this out! Thank you. So far, I was just basing it off my understanding of the human nervous system so this is perfect!!
Oh you're going to love this! It's short, but there's so many good tips in there
