Yeah. I think it's pure ice below the snow. winter tires wouldn't help much. We used to have winters like that in Bavaria too.

nah, doesn't matter how cold it is. they didn't put enough calcium chloride on the snow. it should just all melt right away. in the middle of a city main roads with ice is just unacceptable and yet another proof of how much the canadian government wants to kill everyone.
