I again find myself asking - how and why should we trust Kagi? Privacy policies are wet paper.

To me the product is so much better than any other search engine out there that it's worth it. Especially for work-related things. The fact that it's a bootstrapped business is good as well.
I'm not saying that anyone has to use it or not use it. I'm just asking about its privacy features. It's disingenuous, I believe, to sell it as a private search engine when it requires an account and everything is closed-source.
