Those are the reasons why I did not switch to Bitcoin Knots. Mainly to the fact that this project has only one maintainer not even signing his commits. But if we go back to the subject, the OP_RETURN debate has been so heated, I simply chose to not upgrade past minor 29 until I can really observe and understand what the real implications will be.

That’s a disingenuous and deceiving characterization. Most of the code from Knots comes from Core, which has more than one maintainer. If you think the differences between both implementations cannot be maintained by Luke alone, that would be an argument worth having.

i've always said if people care so much about this one PR someone should just make a fork of v30 with this single change reverted. you don't need to run core with hundreds of god-knows-what changes on top
