For anyone who has done the primal booth hang, what are the detailed rules?
Elbows locked or bent? Overhand or underhand grip? What rules need to be met while hanging?
My husband and I have been trying and failing to build our cool basement gym for like two years. We’ve been traveling around too much between our properties, I’ve been focusing on biking, etc. But ostensibly we’ve still got some stuff down there.

You can use whatever grip you want, you can put your elbows at whatever angle you want. You can't touch the ground was the only rule as far as I could tell. I guess no gloves or wraps or straps around your hands, I'm guessing?
I can’t wait to see this! Start a ‘hanging on’ longest-grip-standing competition
Hmu when you want to come biking in the Italian Dolomite mountains. Amazing sceneries, food and coffee.
Ciao.
Me too!
No rules. Just hang. Can do a pull up. You can bend elbows or use one arm.
BUT
Our bar was quite slippery, which definitely lowered times. Nobody had chalk or tape like most gyms.
My max time on the bar @npub14am8...udp2 hung on for 12 minutes was 4:30. I was hanging on one arm at times during that hang and so was he.
My max time on our cheap amazon bar was 1:45.
@Jon Chenot is champ so far with I think a 3:10 hang. And @Sirius was right behind just under 3 mins.

Approved. The type of bar will always be th variable.
As in the width of the bar ?
Ya everything about it. Some are just naturally more grippy too.
Minutes+ long hangs is hella impressive
