Why does it need github login since today or yesterday?

I haven't seen it. What needs what? I'm running VK locally may be a few versions behind

Since yesterday, vibekanban does not support the projects/kanban mode without a login. You only have a simple list view of stuff. But did not check fully, because I disliked the whole experience of breaking the previous flow of no login.
