This battle between "historic foes" is/was completely staged, although I don’t believe that Trump played any role other than actor/stooge, as do all the government “leaders'“.
Those in power agreed decades ago that physical destruction of the infrastructure is counter-productive. If the idea is to minimise the prole population, leaving the infrastructure in a condition that would necessitate proles for reconstruction (at least until robots can do the work without supervision) means keeping enough chattel around to do the job.
Neutron bombs were the next step - kill the proles but leave the buildings standing. However, “there’s always someone witha big nose who knows'“, to quote Morrissey, and those people correctly warned that although the radiation would leave structures intact, the land would remain uninhabitable for a couple of generations.
But now the solution has arrived: bio-genetic warfare. It’s perfect - targets can be acquired and eliminated individually, or by ethnic group, or by any other genetic marker, leaving the instrastructure intact and the environment in a habitable state.
And, here we are. There won’t be any large scale kinetic war ever again, unless the proles somehow get the controls. Sure, there will still be violence to kill the proles - killing proles silently with bio-warfare is effective, but a lot of those in power still love their bloodsport. But the future is now far better-targetted and more effective.
“War” between “countries” will still be threatened to cower the proles and enhance conflict among them, and also use up the products of the prole labour to ensure that the proles don’t receive the benefits of same. Buit at some point, maybe sooner than expected by many, the final move will be made and those in power, confident in that total control of the dwindling prole population cannot be lost, will reveal their millennia-long ruse.
The “Fingerpoke of Doom” was an infamous wrestling match in which the giant conflict between “good”, in the person of Hulk Hogan, finally confronted “evil”, in the person of Kevin Nash, after months of lead up. Fans expected a melee for the ages, a clash that would shake the wrestling world to its core.
Hulk and Nash jawed at each other, and then the match began. Immediately, Hulk used his index finger to poke Nash in the chest, and Nash comically flipped to the ground on his back, and Hulk got the pin and ended the match.
The crowd was dumbfounded. What happened to the match of the century? Where was the blood? The sweat? The tears?
Nash rose from the mat with a big smile on his face. Hulk grinned and tore off his shirt, in his inimitable way, and displayed the t-shirt underneath, Hulk was actually a member of the “New World Order: Wolfpack” (yup, that’s what they called it), as was Nash. They were on the same side. Always had been.
I see the same happening soon in “geo-politics”. There will be no WWIII. Russia, China and the other “Axes of Evil” are not rushing to Iran’s side. Putin laughed at the idea and instead indicated the similarities between Israel and Russia. The shirt is coming off. All governments are simply enforcement franchises of the same power, and they are united in their sole mission - to keep “those in power” in power forever. The USA calls it “continuity of government”. Sure, they will continue to use their ballistic missiles to depopulate the proles, but there will be no “regime change” because there is only one regime.
