Usury (loaning with interest) is immoral.
When I loan money to people, I never charge interest and really don't ever expect to get that money back, so when I do, it's pleasantly unexpected.
It also speaks volumes about someone's character when I get paid back.

There has to be price for the risk for loaning out money.
Yes, I can loan money to my friends without interest and without much expectations getting that money back. But in the "real world" time and risk factors needs to be priced accordingly, otherwise there would be no loaning/borrowing since those who load would get their capital destroyed in the process.
i don’t think this scales as far the human species’ needs. what happens when the fiat money continues to break and you have IOUs depreciating faster in purchasing power?
Don't use fiat. It is *also* immoral.
