Reason: The site was shut down because the Hadsel municipality didn't renew its operating permit, following ongoing noise complaints from locals. Q: why the facility ignored the noise problem? Not that we don’t have better cooling tech.

The noise complaints are understandable though. Immersion seems the way forward for miners located near population centers. I wonder if it was just used as an excuse by the gov to shut them down though.
