As an integral part of the “Avenor Tutudoza” festival, a pilgrimage was made to an ancestral site; a traditional war zone called “DATSUTAGBA” where folks dress in a war-like traditional costumes.
We also represented #Bitcoin and proudly had the logo painted on our faces to keep visibility on. Some still see us crazy 🤪 but we keep doing what we do.

This pilgrimage, which I just learned about through connecting with @Bitcoin Aves happens every year in Akatsi, Ghana. My understanding is that the Ewe warriors defeated a British army coalition in 1866. This spirit of resistance to tyranny continues with #Bitcoin adoption efforts in the region freeing the people from the oppression of fiat currency! Support them if you can
