Nice. Looking at the devices supported they appear a little old and there may be some network support issues here in Oz but I will take a look for the future

Yeah but where I live they have a lot of ridiculous requirements that means they lock a bunch of old phones off the networks
Hm, I thought that the high price models from Samsung would have been more expensive than the ones from Xiaomi/... 🤔

The flagships are, but the HW on the low and mid range Samsung's is better than their competitors at that price point (which gives you an idea how much they must be making off the flagships).

Mostly cost + a little bit of FUD regarding whether google were trying to lock graphene out

New. I worry about the previous user beating the shit out of the battery. Why else would you dump a phone after a year or so (outside of flagships)?

I've watched some of his youtube videos in the past and thought they seemed fine but when Ryu posted I searched his name and the first two pages were either his own content or people complaining about him (going years back).
I'm no Micay Man™ as it pertains to his conduct, but when your loudest critics are him and the company Unplugged (co-founded by a "former" glownigger), I tend to avoid anything having to do with either. Both their respective histories of security and privacy theater in addition to the shameless self-promotion of technically inferior products also doesn't help.
That criticism will never become outdated unless Braxman pivots towards objective discussion and showcasing of truly private and secure products and services; considering this is the same man who dedicated an entire video shitting on 2FA over one of the worst ways to do it (SMS-based verification), that will be an unlikely one.
