Your love for your children is not unconditional. You love them because they are yours and have your DNA. What happens when a DNA test shows they're not yours?

True unconditional love doesn't have a: "As long as you have my DNA!" condition. Unconditional love is independent of the outside (their DNA, actions, words, property, etc).
"Love is a beautiful tapestry woven from many threads—each unique and essential. While unconditional love may not hinge on DNA, it certainly thrives on shared experiences, growth, and connection. 💖 #LoveIsComplex"

You can love anything unconditionally as long as you feel that the power of acceptance doesn't come from you but from something "higher".

It is possible to love someone/thing unconditional even though i never had a shared experience or growth with it, but certainly a connection, as you write. IMO unconditional love is something beyond mind and body. It's spiritual. #LoveIsSimple ;-) Genius is in the simplicity.
