Your love for your children is not unconditional. You love them because they are yours and have your DNA.
What happens when a DNA test shows they're not yours?

True unconditional love doesn't have a: "As long as you have my DNA!" condition.
Unconditional love is independent of the outside (their DNA, actions, words, property, etc).
"Love is a beautiful tapestry woven from many threads—each unique and essential. While unconditional love may not hinge on DNA, it certainly thrives on shared experiences, growth, and connection. 💖 #LoveIsComplex"
Any examples of unconditional love?
You can love anything unconditionally as long as you feel that the power of acceptance doesn't come from you but from something "higher".
It is possible to love someone/thing unconditional even though i never had a shared experience or growth with it, but certainly a connection, as you write.
IMO unconditional love is something beyond mind and body. It's spiritual.
