People think I genuinely enjoy saying this. Or that I like the idea that this is the only way to something different or better. I genuinely hate it and wish there was any other way. There's not.

I don't think you enjoy saying that. Hating others is incredibly unfulfilling, especially hating people to the point that violence is the only response one can believe in.
