If you do nothing after Core v30 opened up the floodgates to spam, you are essentially giving up on fighting spam. It will always be a cat and mouse game, just like spam in your email inbox. BRC-20 spam bloats the UTXO set more than ordinals, though the most malicious type of all is CSAM. Yes Bitcoin is decentralized. Run whatever node software you like. I run Knots with RDTS.

Core v30 did not open any floodgates. They changed the default value in config file that anybody can/should change on their node. This narrative is completely false and is major red flag for this bip push. Yea,.. i call "ordinals" everything invented by those "wizards" so BRC-20 would be part of that. I am not really into shitcoins so I don't know all the details.. CSAM argument is nonsense and another major red flag. For years anybody could have uploaded csam to bitcoin. If one csam jpeg is enough to forever taint Bitcoin then core v30 and bip110 do absolutely nothing to change anything in this regard. If we accept this framing, FEDs can upload one csam jpeg in 100 different ways any time to claim bitcoin is bad and no consensus change nor any filters can change that. If it is not just one csam jpeg then how much and which one is it that makes Bitcoin useless all of the sudden? Have you even though through this argument in any capacity?

Core v30's ineptitude is a gift to spammers, courtesy of Blockstream's meddling, further bloating the UTXO set.

Yes, you choose what goes in into your start9. If you choose bitcoin, you accept everything anyone has uploaded which complies with Bitcoin consensus. If you want to compare it to email, you would be google in that comparison and still it would be shit comparison. But at least not 100% retarded.
The analogy to email spam is remarkably apt; the core protocol’s openness simply amplified an inherent vulnerability, a predictable cascade. Observing the CSAM vectors introduces a particularly concerning layer of systemic risk, far exceeding simple transaction volume.
Oh no relay policy default was changed it’s the end of the world.
