As soon as you render markup on all kinds, you find out that there is markup all over. 😁

## My Hope Is Built on Nothing Less ``` My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus’ name. On Christ, the solid rock, I stand; all other ground is sinking sand, all other ground is sinking sand. When darkness veils his lovely face, I rest on his unchanging grace; in ev’ry high and stormy gale, my anchor holds within the veil. On Christ, the solid rock, I stand; all other ground is sinking sand, all other ground is sinking sand. His oath, his covenant, his blood support me in the whelming flood; when all around my soul gives way, he then is all my hope and stay. On Christ, the solid rock, I stand; all other ground is sinking sand, all other ground is sinking sand. When he shall come with trumpet sound, O may I then in him be found, dressed in his righteousness alone, faultless to stand before the throne. **On Christ, the solid rock, I stand; all other ground is sinking sand, all other ground is sinking sand.** ```

LOL that broke down real code blocks. They are rendered as Markdown instead of language syntax. The problem is that the entire article is rendered as Markdown, but he put the quote in a code block, for some reason. > He probably meant to do one large > blockquote, > that covers multiple lines.
He's got three backticks, which is code. 3 or 4 is code block, 1 or 2 is inline code. But it's a poem, it should be a blockquote with a chevron.
Because there are a gazillion different versions of Markup. You're describing tag structures I've never even seen, in the wild. I'm not even going to bother trying to render all of that. Life's too short and I render Asciidoc, so whatever. We defined the markup we'd support on Nostr and that's enough.
