This means that my friends that want to pay me with CashApp can now pay me in bitcoin, without needing to actually touch bitcoin themselves. Huge is right.

This means anyone with dollars in their Cash App account will be able to scan a bitcoin/lightning invoice and pay it without needing to first purchase the bitcoin. This is MASSIVE. View quoted note →

And Cashapp users can now send payments to anyone anywhere in the world as long as the receiving wallet/institution can interact with the bitcoin network. Bye bye ACH and wire transfers.
