Shower frequency is a function of your level of physical activity and the level of activity of your sweat glands and the quality of the oils/sweat you produce. Some people produce a very thin un-oily sweat which bacteria can't eat and thrive on so they hardly ever produce enough sweat for bacteria to grow and a bad odor to arise. They have to be made dirty by external sources. Others produced very oily/fatty sweat and within 8-12 hours bacteria has thrived and died and start to stink up the place. your level of activity and weather dictate how much cooling/sweating your body has to do. asian and nordic populations adapter to cold weather and millennia of period famine have evolved less oily/fatty sweat so they require fewer showers to maintain a "fresh" scent. Conversely someone from say the Indian subcontinent could be cursed with the demonic combo which is fatty sweat, hairy skin, dirty environments, hot weather and physical labor. Of course no single individual can ever judge by group statistics and broad generalizations. All the above being said, you're probably a dirty basterd and should shower more or move around more.
