What are the highlights for you? Are you a dev?
Intention or execution?
I see falsely shaded glass, unreliable search, various Notes text editing issues, and a messy Safari compact layout.
I like the lighter general tone though, even switched back to light icons.
Also nice to see you back.
Yeah I’m a dev, so it’s been on a dev device from the jump (and I was not totally in love w it), but ever since I put it on my daily device a week or two ago I’ve been loving it. Liquid Glass is nice.
I have some WebKit api usage I need to test and alter on 26, soon. Luckily I have a spare device. Was thinking I should put the new Xcode on another machine to keep them separate for now
Both intention and execution are not perfect, but it’s just really nice using it on my daily driver and using it for my apps hitting next week when they allow new iOS 26 updates to go out to everyone.
That’s really funny you mention light mode because that’s actually what I’ve been using with it (have always been using dark mode previously)
Yeah the scariest upgrade for me is always the macOS beta on my main machine. What are you using WebKit and such for that you mentioned there? Contex.st?
Yes. Contex.st and some other apps I’m working on
Awesome I’ll be keeping an eye out
I quite look forward to glass UI third party apps.
Lemme know if you have any advice on Contex.st
Just downloaded so I’ll check it out and play around w it now, looks cool
There’s some good ones on TestFlight I’ve been using. A few that are just insanely nice
Cool! Can you show a few screenshots or share a TF link?
What’s your favourite new feature so far?
Call screening. You?
I haven’t migrated yet. Soon
