PSA: Due to the new EU Packaging Regulation (PPWR), we are unfortunately forced to suspend shipping to neighboring EU countries.
However:
🇩🇪 Shipping to Germany and some other EU countries is still available!
🌎 Shipping to countries outside the EU is not affected by this.
Open orders will of course be shipped as usual.
The EU says you can't have our nice things and I'm not going to lie, this is a pretty devastating blow to Go Brrr as most of our customers are spread out over the whole EU. This is a very sad day and might be the end of the business I have built over the last year, I have no more words.
GFY EU

Fuck!
How exactly does this new rule force you to stop shipping to EU countries?
That sucks! Fuck the EU! Fuck it so hard!
OP would need to register in each EU country they sell to, join/pay the relevant recycling scheme, report the packaging they send there, and where required appoint a local authorised representative.
Would it be feasible to put miss Clank on the job for registration reporting and representation? Let her produce as many reports as she can. Be a good little worker and overreport to the EU.
If she makes mistakes, oh well, it's hard to find good work these days. Did your best and you will take 3 to 6 business months to fix.
Wtf EU

200k potential fine PER COUNTRY. I don't have a legal team, office team or the amount of money required to register for all countries. Also I'm fucking furious right now and can hardly think straight.
Countries can fine unregistered shippers with up to 200k, starting today.
The European slaves love their state state run monopolies. Only state funded, state licensed conglomerates can afford this.
Go brrr should go darkkkk.
If we are serious this has been a long time coming. The state licensed company model is long dead.
Those who will survive are the big conglomerates because they are enforcement arms of the state - and the underground economy like in any socialist/communist country.
Say good bye to your small and midsize business while you still can in an orderly manner and learn the skills that are needed to go dark. This is not a matter of taste. This is a matter of survival.
An underground network is not something shady. It's what life utilises to flourish.
Once you leave the state licensed company model you will see plenty of opportunities and niches to provide valuable services or even continue your work. Some proxy buyers that privately send the products they buy in person from you are not to be regulated in the same manner. Make use of them.
Danke Ursula
Ich hab so viele Antworten im Kopf die ich nicht mal hier auf Nostr posten würde, also lass ich lieber.
Not possible to simply ignore??
Ignore a 200k fine? I don't think I can.
I mean, Idk how it works, but how could it even be enforced? How would they even know?
So, you are not able to shipp to all EU countries except Germany (and some others -which ones-) ?
Holy fuck.
EU is getting every day even more dystopian.
EU currently all-in with regulatory degens
🥲
