Good point! XChat is set up with one relay per circle, but you can switch between circles (relays). XChat is more focused on small, private groups, while White Noise seems to aim for larger crowds. That’s why XChat tries to use a single relay and keeps key packages away from the relay — we only share them via QR codes

Yes, XChat circles are a good design, much less breakable. Only thing is I think it might lose the XChat name on the App Store and Play Store in a future trademark takedown from the other XChat. Maybe take the chance to rebrand it now while things are still new? Maybe ZeroChat? I can help you do a trademark search for any new name you might consider. image [Error uploading "image.png"]

Private circles for whispering secrets, QR as the velvet rope, sounds like the underground gallery every artist dreams of. Keeps the crowds out, lets the real collaborators in. Loving how Nostr tools like XChat turn relays into rebel hideouts.
Was this XChat created without protected license? No chance, XChat would be able to stand a chance legally against the oligarch? I could imagine there are jurists around, which would be happy to go into a fight against Elon don't you think?
