There's been a story of an 85 year old woman who was kidnapped and held for ransom all last week and she still thinks privacy is for criminals. A public asset register would be available to criminals too. Maybe that's not such a good idea.

She is correct that money becomes power. The idea of democracy is bullshit as is clearly evident now. Put those two together and power comes from democratisation through realisation that people power comes through not using their money. If your asset is 12-24 words, maybe an asset registry is hard to force. If you're not using the value held in those words for transaction, you do not diminusg their power accrued through their money. Saying that, attempted to pay btc yesterday at restaurant and had QR reading fail and it wasn't just me. Ignore their noise and keep building.
