We did far more preparation for Android 16 than we've ever done for any previous yearly release. Since we weren't able to obtain OEM partner access, we did extensive reverse engineering of the upcoming changes. Developers also practiced by redoing previous quarterly/yearly ports.

Google never should have been allowed to take over android. Same with YouTube, and everything else that google are ruining. When google removed "don't be evil" from their code of ethics the company should have been dissolved then and there rather than allowed to become an evil monopoly that makes life harder for normal people

I didn't want to buy new ones. I wanted to keep using my own earbuds because most are too big to fit inside my ears.

This is unfortunate although taking the positives out, we may get a GrapheneOS device sooner than previously thought. 👊
