How dangerous is a powerful laser to my cameras?
It could be anything from "not at all as they have narrow band filters for the 5 wavelengths lasers use" to "real 200mW red lasers fry the whole sensors at 100m even if shining from outside the field of view".
I tested it with an old phone. Bought a powerful blue laser as it should've been most effective destroying camera sensors. Laser burns paper, lights matches etc. Did fuck all to 2012 Samsung camera front or back.
Apparently the type of laser you would need, capable of delivering high energy pulses isn't readily available on Amazon.
So what do vandals use? Paint balls?
