I won't defend all his actions. I'm sure I wouldn't even like the guy if I had met him.
The agent in question was not justified in his use of deadly force. They had disarmed him and had him face down. Up until the point where they offloaded 9 bullets in him, the agents were doing a good job of handling him.

Alright that makes a little more sense. To me it looked like the agent heard “gun” and saw him going for his holster when he shot but that’s at least a coherent argument. I think the fact this guy was injured with a broken rib from a confrontation earlier that week shows he was doing anything he could to instigate a reaction. Bringing a gun and fighting cops is not a good way to get my sympathy haha.
Having a sidearm and getting into an altercation of any kind is really reckless. (I don’t open carry but I do generally do have a firearm on me)
One thing that stuck with me was a CCW instructor that explained that carrying a weapon means that you are never going to be escalating any altercation. Ever.
Because if you do, someone will prob die.
Maybe you, maybe them.
Nobody wants that.
