Do you realize that once workers will have been setup to screen foreigners, their providers will want to sell more services, more software and that it is just a first step before any citizen will also be screened ?

Yeah, this is absurd. "The proposal document was filed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its component agency Customs and Border Protection (CBP)." It seems it is up for discussion first so I hope as many as possible will make a noise about it. Among other things, they suggest to require all the email addresses used in the last 5 years and all social media accounts. This is a blatant surveillance state net. Actual criminals will always find a way to get around it. It is nobody's business which social media you have used in the past or what emails you have used. Email is just a colloquial term for a system of text exchange. Anything could be counted as a system of text exchange. This is a proposal I would have expected under a Kamala presidency. The US Republican base needs to shoot this down.
