Just tell the person this directly. Don't pussy foot around on this. If people had not taken the time to correct me I would have been even stupider than I am now. Once a friend in Community College said, OG, when you talk you say, "you know" way too much. I listened and he explained to me that people don't know, they need clear descriptions of the concepts that I'm trying to communicate. Many examples of people correcting me and I am grateful. If the person can't handle this then that person has been set up for failure. As my Drill Sergeant used to say, A Bravo Foxtrot will set you up for failure. Don't be a Bravo Foxtrot. Which means, Buddy Fucker. When someone does or says something wrong correct it. I'll even go up to strangers and fix their shirts, ties and if it's a women whose out of order I will politely say tell her away from other people. That's the key. We need to extend the hand of grace to all of those we encounter.
