What I’m realizing in the last few months, which may have seemed obvious to a lot of other people, but I’m not always the sharpest knife in the drawer… the two weakest links in bitcoin are the people writing the software for node runners, and the people that make talking about bitcoin their job. If I were a bad actor scheming of ways to ruin bitcoin, those are the two bottlenecks I would corrupt. It’s almost like you can measure how corrupt or corruptible they are by how many adbreaks they have in their Podcasts. I’m not saying they are all corrupt or that none of them are adding value. But sunlight is the best disinfectant and these people need to know they are being watched by all the plebs. And we will hold them ALL accountable. We decide if you have a career as an influencer in bitcoin, not the David Bailey class. The fact that they can laugh at us about BIP110 and still think they have a career in bitcoin tells you who they think their employer is… It’s not the plebs. It’s the people paying them to come and talk at conferences so they can have their fancy highlight reel and gain even more attention. Plebs need to organize better and shut down some of these clowns and the rest will all jump in line.
